Shibadong Village selected as Yangtze River Themed National Tourism Route

Recently, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism has launched 10 national tourism routes themed the Yangtze River and a travel itinerary of the tourism belt. Shibadong Village in Huayuan County has been selected as a Yangtze River Rural Revitalization Tour Route. Shibadong Village, located in the southwest of Shuanglong Town, Huayuan County, is in the hinterland of China’s Wuling Mountains. It is a settlement inhabited by the Miao people and hidden in a remote and secluded valley. It is also the place where the initiative of targeted poverty alleviation was first proposed and a symbol of China’s poverty alleviation spirit.
